About Us

David Jina founded MyFairMd after experiencing and discovering the none insurance payment option for medical services. After paying close to $1000 for a knee MRI with a very good insurance plan he was reluctant to do it again. While seeing his Physiatrist about numbness and pain in his hand thinking it was carpal tunnel he was informed it was a neck issue. He was told he needed a neck MRI. His Physiatrist informed him he could get the MRI without the use of insurance for a lot less. In fact, he saved 70% compared to what he paid for his last MRI with insurance. Dave being a serial entrepreneur was instantly inspired to help others save money and get the services they thought they could not afford. He spent the next few months talking to doctors, potential patients, and other service providers. He discovered there is a real need for this. Many people have high deductibles, as high as $15,000, and many others have no insurance. Bringing affordable medical services to the people who need them became a passion for him.
